This is the class YOU need in order to apply for your Michigan concealed pistol license (CPL). We offer a one day class in a Private Classroom, no hidden costs, no 25-30 person class sizes.
Individual instruction, class sizes are kept small.
Cost is $165.00 per student and includes:
- Classroom Instruction, Legal obligation instruction
- Qualification
- Catered lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
- Certificate at the completion of class to present to the county clerk
Course length: 1 day, 8 to 10 hours depending on class size.
Located in Livingston County Michigan, we have trained Michigan residents and prepared them for application for their concealed carry permit since 2000. The original classification of the Michigan Concealed Pistol License was a Michigan CCW Permit. Today, the classification in Michigan for carrying a Concealed Weapon is a Michigan Concealed Pistol License or Michigan CPL. Students with minimum or no handgun experience are welcome. Course work is both in the class room instruction and outside. This is an interactive course where students are engaged with the instructors and are encouraged to ask questions. This course includes discussions on ammunition, choosing the proper handgun for you, safe gun handling, and safe storage of firearms.
This CPL class will qualify you to apply for a Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL) sometimes referred to as CCW or Carry Concealed Weapon at your county clerks office in your county. The following subjects are discussed in depth:firearms and the law, including civil liability, fundamentals of defensive pistol shooting, avoiding a criminal attack, controlling violent confrontations and laws that apply to carrying a concealed pistol in the state of Michigan.
